Phoenix’s schedule is highlighted by three Friday night matches (May 4 v. LA II, June 29 v. OCSC, July 20 v. SEA II). Every Western Conference team travels to the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex once except Orange County, who visits twice in the summer months (Jun. 29 and Aug. 11).
Fresno (Apr. 28), Las Vegas (Wed. Jun. 13), and Saint Louis FC (Sep. 29) will make their debut trips to the Complex in 2018. Other marquee home matches include Swope Park Rangers (Apr. 21), Sacramento Republic (May. 19), San Antonio FC (Wed. Aug. 22), and Timbers II to finish the season (Oct. 13).
The Firebirds will be satisfied with their away schedule. There are no 4-match road trips. Traveling fans will have two chances to visit Las Vegas, including a prime fixture on Saturday Aug. 18. A chance for snow exists in Reno on March 31. And the toughest trip will likely happen May 26-Jun. 9. (@ SPR, @STL, @SAC).
Phoenix Rising also announced a Feb. 28 preseason match in Ecuador against South American powerhouse LDU Quito. The Firebirds will train in Quito, Ecuador from Feb. 25-Mar. 3 at the national team complex.
