The second match of the Mini Mobile Sun Cup did not disappoint, as the Seattle Sounders defeated archrivals Portland Timbers 2-1 in Tucson.

It was obvious the Sounders came to win, as the MLS giants took an early lead thanks to Cristian Roldan. A great run into the box by Harry Shipp created the opportunity, and Roldan cleaned it up, finding the loose ball off the rebound and beating Jeff Attinella.

Not to be outmatched in front of the TA Desert Corps, Diego Valeri of the Portland Timbers scored one of his own, finding himself some space in front of the six-yard box and making it look it easy, putting a header past Stefan Frei off the Sebastian Blanco cross.

Eighteen-year-old Seattle Homegrown Handwalla Bwana had a dream moment in the 68th minute when he notched the winner, slotting past Kendall McIntosh from just above the penalty spot.
